What This Site Is?
This site is our personal record and testament to the system of parenting that we have adopted. I have read a lot of parenting books and writings by well meaning researchers and psychologists who have formed parenting models in a research environment but have never tested them in the real world. We are interested in what really works in the real word of daily parenting. Plus, a lot of these "experts" ARE NOT PARENTS! Our posts, research, successes and failures are real world cases not something conjured for literature's sake.
What This Site Really Is?
This site is all about the 10%, meaning the 10% of the men that will really push themselves to achieve something more and leave an impact on this world. Its for real men who want to step up and be accountable. It’s for the type of men who want to look back at all areas of his life and be proud. Plain and Simple: It’s about doing what most men will not.
We are not experts by any means; We are however following the passion that God has put in our hearts and striving to make it to the top of the mountain by his Grace. We are looking for other real men who are ready to join the team and make the push to the summit. This site will be a learning experience in the cold, hard, real world. There will be success and failure and we will share our mistakes and how to avoid them in the future.
This site is also religious; We are strong Christians and
also feel that Biblical Parenting is by far the best form of parenting available. We will quote scripture and paraphrase sermons
in the best ways we know how, we are not however ordained (most of us anyway) in any way.
If you are not a Christian or you are a non-practicing Christian:
This site is still relevant in all areas.
You could probably learn something about how real Christians
live and maybe we can answer some of your questions about Christianity.
This could rekindle your passion for Christ; it took us many years of exploring various forms of Christianity to find one that fit for us.
We are not gurus, we have nothing to sell and we are not looking for a fan club to support our cause.
We are trying to use the gifts God gave us to share with others and glorify his name.
This is not about our agenda, it is about His agenda.
What This Site Is NOT
This site is not about whining, excuses or hypocritical thinking. We all know where we really stand and if we are really living up to the morals and values of Jesus Christ. Everyone has fear, everyone has problems and everyone has setbacks, we are not as unique as we think we are. Let’s get over these hurdles together.
This site will not give you all the answers because those are to be found through your own experiences and reading. This site will give you the references to get the answers but what you do with these references is up to you. (See whining, excuses and posers)
This site will not always be politically correct. Sometimes being a good Christian man means slapping your brothers in the face when they do something stupid and I’d expect a good slap back when you see me doing something stupid.

The world is a much harder place to live in then a little weblog, go back to Pleasantville where it’s comfortable and safe. During Navy SEAL training, there is a week called “Hell Week” it is designed to separate the weak, the quitters, the ones you don’t want on the team. Those who are left, the 10%, will watch your back, never quit and will put the team and the mission above themselves.
